What gets extracted

The parser finds labelled sections — Central idea, Lines of inquiry, Key concepts, Transdisciplinary theme, Learner profile, KUD, ATL, Action, Success criteria — and maps them into a new PYP unit.

For a clean import

Upload a digitally-exported PDF (from ManageBac, Toddle, Word or Google Docs) — its text is read automatically. Scanned/photographed PDFs have no text layer and can't be read; paste those instead. Keep each label on its own line (e.g. "Central idea:") for the best match.

Spotting gaps

After upload or paste, every field the parser can't find shows as — not found — in the preview — your checklist of missing planning elements to complete.

Then what?

Preview what was found, then create the unit and open it straight in the PYP planner.
